INTERFAITH HOSPITALITY NETWORK

The Interfaith Hospitality Network of Buffalo provides assistance for homeless families. Area churches host families on a rotating basis providing lodging and meals. During week days guests are transported by van to the day center located next to Central Presbyterian Church in Buffalo. Guests are assisted in many areas with special emphasis in finding new housing and employment.

Volunteers from Baker assist at St. Mathias Church during host weeks. They prepare one breakfast and one dinner. After dinner volunteers provide socialization, play games and assist children with homework as needed. The overnight lasts from 9pm to 6am. Contact person is Polly Brickel - 655-5226.
